Rules and Regulations

Salute upon entering and leaving the kwoon (Kung Fu
school).

Refer to the chief instructor as "Sifu" at all times.

Be courteous and kind to all and do not talk bad about
another student.

Do not interrupt a Sifu when he's talking.
-
Never ask Sifu to be promoted or when is your test,
you will test when he tells you.
-
Always show humility, never boast.
-
Have good personal hygiene (bathing/showering,
deodorant, and clean uniform).

Wear your sash to every class.
-
Call ahead when you cannot attend your class, but not
during class times, please.

Give a hearty applause at the end of every class (show
enthusiasm and energy!)

No talking during weapons training, or when others are
performing weapons.

Show utmost respect to SiGungs and USKFE Sifu's.
-
Study hard and strive for self improvement (you can do
it!).

Thank Sifu for correcting your Kung-Fu or giving
corrective criticism.

Strive to be the "Student of the Month."

Refer to elders as “Si-Heng” (male senior) or “Si-Jie”
(female senior)
-
Wear complete sparring gear and do not ask to spar
(never ask Sifu to spar with you).

Strive for tranquility and peace of mind and do not
have a “quick trigger”.

Never ask Sifu to be promoted or when is your test,
you will test when he tells you.

Do not lean against the wall, this signifies laziness.
-
No one is to teach weapons without Sifu approval

Do not disrespect another martial art, we are all
brothers/sisters in the arts we love.
-
Do not talk back to referees at tournaments.
-
Do not workout barefooted in the Kwoon.
-
Do not wear emblems, patches, uniforms or anything
displaying another martial art.
-
Do not ask elders to show you more advanced materials
or “the next move.”

Do not accept challenges without Sifu's permission.
-
Protect and keep the Kwoon clean.
-
Show up on time for class but do not come to class
until 5 minute before it starts. It is rude and inconsiderate to barge
in on the class before yours.

Smoking, Drinking, Profanity, Lude Behavior, Malicious
hitting and Acts of Vulgarity are not permitted in or
around the kwoon’s premises (We are honorable and respectable, let’s
keep it that way.)
